FiatOBD2 FaultCodes. Fault codes for Ducato including Fiat and generic compiled from a number of different sources. www.motorhomefun.co.uk. I use multiecuscan on a win 10 laptop and a obdlink sx usb cable and AlfaOBD on windows and android on a Samsung phone with The orig SX adaptor and a micro-usb adaptor.

However, this is obviously based on the engine receiving good service maintenance, especially when it comes to the oil (it's known for the chain to "stretch" on the current Alfa 2.2 JTS engine if cheap, low quality/wrong grade oil is used). Also, the 1.3 is engineered to be a 'safe' engine in the event of chain breakage. Unfortunately, however, the truth can be very different. Figures recently released by consumer warranty company Warranty Direct, show that Volkswagen, Audi and BMW make some of the least reliable engines on the market. Audi came second-from-bottom in the engine reliability charts with one failure in every 27, beaten only by the now-defunct MG
May 26, 2013. #4. We have a Mohawk with the 150hp upgrade previous van was an AT Tracker with 130 engine the difference in power and torque delivery is very noticeable. Mohawk is 4250kg but far more sprightly, less gear changing and much more of a pleasure to drive not really run in yet at 1400 miles but mpg seems better averaging 24/25.
Connects to the engine ECU and reads advanced sensors data available only via the CAN bus and inaccessible to regular OBD scanners. Fiat Albea 1.3 JTD/Multijet

On the 01 2.8jtd the engine number is on the back of the block near the waterpump, but you can only see it from under the van with your head wedged between the exhaust and the chassis. And then you probably won't be able to see the last of the 7 digits!
Hi, My Motorhome Ducato 2.3 150 multijet is due a timing belt change (5 years) I have done a few other vehicles in the past but not a Ducato, reading the E learn procedure it advises removing/loosening the cam pulley. I am trying to understand why this is necessary, I would have though locking the camshafts with the two locking pins and locking
The 2.2 is intended to complement, not replace, the company’s existing 2-liter Multijet diesel engine and in the Cherokee will be available only with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. The four-cylinder Euro 6-compliant engine comes in two states of tune, producing 188ps and 203ps, both versions with 440Nm of peak torque.

This is coming from having both the first 2.3 120bhp engine in a panel van and a 2.3 130bhp Euro 4 engine in a 7m coachbuilt both of which were fine. The power band on the 130bhp Euro 6 vs the Euro 5 is very narrow peak torque is between 1750 and 2250rpm vs 1500-2750 on the Euro 5 150bhp or 1500-2250rpm on the current Euro 6 150bhp.

My Swift Sundance 2008 with Fiat 100 multijet (2.2 litre) engine has averaged 31.3 mpg over 4800 miles, generally travelling 55-60 mph. The trip computer usually tells me around 36 mpg,so I concur with the view that these are optimistic).

The "for life" timing chain of 100 MultiJet, 160 MultiJet Power and 180 MultiJet Power engines does not need to be replaced. 120 MultiJet, 130 MultiJet and 150 MultiJet engines have a timing belt which must be checked every 90,000 km and replaced every 180,000 km on Euro 4 engines, and checked every 96,000 km and replaced every 192,000 km on

Points. 7. May 7, 2016. #1. Ok I have a fault that I need some help with please. It is a 2011 Fiat Ducato 2.3 150bhp. When accelerating with the engine under load in any gear and any speeds the engine seems to cut out and back in again. This throws up a light to say that the hill control assist and esp are not functioning. 1,306. Aug 2, 2023. #3. The ecu is being told that the fuel pressure in the fuel rail is too high. The rail pressure sensor sends a signal to the ecu. The ecu attempts to control the rail pressure via pressure regulating valve /metering valve (these things named differently by different manufacturers) From memory the 2.2 ford engine also may aCHZ.
