My 1st Mondeo had the touchscreen nav. With that car I could only access my phone memory via the touchscreen. Voice control would not work. However my current 2012 Mondeo has the DAB Sony stereo & my phone memory is available from the voice control. Both cars I am using the same iPhone 4 with. Sent from my iPhone using TalkFord.com
Once registered, you can connect multiple devices. Next tap 'Settings' on your SYNC screen, select 'FordPass Connect', then select 'Vehicle Hotspot'. Tap on 'Settings' to view your WiFi Hotspot Name, then 'View password' to reveal the password. You connect your device using an SSID (name) and Password, just like you would at home.
Not all models came with bluetooth modules fitted.. The phone buttons on the radio can cause confusion. Easiest way to check is press either of the phone buttons. If the radio just goes to mute then unfortunately no BT.Mine was 0906 until I bought 1122 off Alex/Motral. I'm pretty sure I was running 0906 when I added the BT/VC/USB module, then upgraded Convers through Alex. But now with Ford's new SYNC system, you can easily pair your cell phone. It's as easy as pressing the Phone button. Let it search for already stored bluetooth devices, and if none are stored, simply press the Arrow buttons until you see the Add Bluetooth Device option. It's that easy!
