Ironically I think the last one I actually committed to was the original Modern Warfare 2 on both PS3 and 360. I think the nostalgia of it all is getting me in the mood to jump back into the series again. I didn't get the 2019 reboot and wasn't sure if it's still worth getting and experiencing before the sequel when it comes out later.
Campaign: your go-to choice is the "remastered" old modern warfare games. Modern graphics but good old story. Then MW19. I'm not sure if you should still play MW2 if you only play campaign. Multiplayer: MW2 is apparently your only choice. Old titles will soon be full of tryhards and you won't be able to enjoy them.

Exactly. I've put 225 hours in to the game and I'm still having tons of fun, I've definitely gotten my money's worth. The campaign is a lot of fun and despite what this sub says, I think MP is great as well. I honestly think now is a great time to start since the game is much improved from launch and I'm hopeful it'll only get better.
